Matthew’s initial training and area of expertise is in photojournalism. It is here, while working with many different news and media outlets as well as NGOs that his passion for storytelling was ignited and honed. Able to adapt to various situations, he established himself as a quick-thinker, adaptable photographer, and one of South Africa’s leading photojournalists.
